Laboratory evaluation:
- Urinary catecholamines and metanephrines elevated in pheochromocytoma
- Hypokalemia and hypernatremia suggest aldosteronoma; serum
aldosterone is elevated with low serum renin and an increased aldosterone:renin ratio. - 24 hour urine for free cortisol and serum cortisol elevated in Cushing's syndrome
