VASCULAR SURGERY
Case #9 -
A 62 year-old man with pain and swelling of foot

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
6.) How can the arterial blood supply be assessed?

The best measurement for assessing the arterial blood supply to the foot is toe pressure. The ankle/brachial index may be falsely high due to calcification in the vessel wall.
