BILIARY TRACT
Case #6 -
A 69 year old woman presents with vague intermittent right upper quadrant pain

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
9.) What is the primary management of carcinoma of the gallbladder?

The primary management of carcinoma is surgical. In tumor confined to the mucosa and submucosa, a cholecystectomy is adequate. However deeper invasion requires more radical surgery including liver resection.
