A male infant was delivered normally at term

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1.) What may be the findings on physical examination?

The anal orifice is absent. There may be dimpling seen at that site. A fistula tract may be seen in the perineum. In the female there may be meconium from the vagina.
