A 51 year old woman presented with flaking of the nipple.

6.) What further workup is needed in order to decide the definitive management?

Diagnostic mammograms should then be done looking for a mass or evidence of ductal carcinoma in situ. If no mass is found, an invasive lesion or DCIS may still be present. An MRI may be helpful in identifying the occult lesion.
