BREAST DISEASE
Case #7 -
A 51 year old woman presented with flaking of the nipple.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
7.) What are the options in surgical management?

If no mass or evidence of DCIS is found, breast conservation with excision of the nipple-areolar complex followed by radiation may be done. Otherwise surgical management and prognosis is dictated by the underlying lesion.
