4.) What workup should now be done?

Diagnostic evaluation:
  1. Urinalysis and urine for culture and sensitivities
  2. Cystoscopy to identify and biopsy any lesion, to note blood coming from ureteral orifices, and to do bladder wash cytology
  3. CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis
  4. Chest X-ray
  5. Serum chemistries and liver function tests
