DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
10.) What are the curative treatment options and major complications of each?

The curative treatment options are as follows:
  1. Radical retropubic prostatectomy with pelvic node dissection. This may be complicated by incontinence or erectile dysfunction.
  2. External beam radiation or brachytherapy. Complications include irritative urinary symptoms, hematuria, decreased bladder capacity, impotence over years, and diarrhea.
