A 64 year old with elevated prostate specific antigen (PSA) value

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
2.) What is the normal value for PSA?

PSA is a continuum with patients with a PSA<1 ng/ml having around 6% risk of prostate cancer; men with PSA between 1-2.5 have a 15% risk of prostate cancer. Men with PSA between 2.5-4 have a 25% risk of cancer. Men with PSA between 4-10 have a 33% risk of cancer.
