Diagnostic tests:
- Laboratory: CBC (expect anemia and leucocytosis)
- Chest X-ray: density or mass with cavity and possible air-fluid level in the upright position.
- CT scan if chest X-ray is equivocal
- Bronchoscopy to rule out obstructing tumor and get cultures
