Katie graduated with her BS in Biology minor Chemistry from Eastern Washington University in 2011.  Before joining the Cancer Vaccine Institute, Katie worked on the largest Natural Resource Damage Assessment doing analytical chemistry data quality assurance for the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico.  She joined the CVI in 2014 and currently supports Dr. Liao in researching the immune response to ovarian cancer, as well as applications of immunotherapy to treat ovarian cancer.
