About Caglar

Çaglar, born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1972, moved to the U.S. in 1997 for a Microsoft job, settling in Seattle. Married with a daughter at Boston University, Çaglar visits his Istanbul family less frequently due to the pandemic but feels well-adjusted in the U.S., overcoming initial language barriers with help from Turkish friends. Preferring the U.S. for its job opportunities and growth potential, Çaglar enjoys his life here despite wishing for more late-night activities in Seattle, valuing the broader opportunities for advancement compared to Turkey.
