About Atakan

Atakan Toprakbasti, born on April 3, 2005, in Kirkland, Washington, is the son of two first generation Turkish immigrants. Growing up in Bellevue, Washington, and graduating from Savannah Much High School, Atakan was deeply involved in sports, particularly soccer, reflecting his active engagement with both Turkish and American cultures. His family, consisting of his parents and sister, maintains a strong bond, with his mother splitting her time between the U.S. and Turkey, where they recently purchased a home. Atakan is currently studying computer science at the University of Washington, exploring his interests while participating in Greek life, contrasting significantly with his Turkish community experiences.
