Welcome to Project 1
Deirdre describes her class as "mellow." Figuratively, it means they are mature and sweet. The class wrote three papers on different topics. The first one was on crime and punishment, the second was a research paper on a culture of their choice and the last one was an autobiographical essay on a conflict and resolution. Besides writing essays, the class watched films which were related to the essay topics. They watched A Time to Kill, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane and The Crucible.
The class learned to use the University of Washington Libraries and the Internet for their research.
