Scott Fung Department:  OMA-Upward Bound (Chemistry) Year With Upward Bound:  Just joined this summer I'm a 23 year-old graduate trying to find something worthwhile to do (i.e. teaching, research in cancer/AIDS, etc..)

Tell one funny event that happened in your life.

During the swim team party at the end of the sport season, the team sat in a circle with their hands tied to their neighbor's and were trying to have a Mexican Fiesta meal with tacos and meat and tomatoes and such.   Had a food fight at the end of the party.

Why did you decide to join the program?

To get a chance to enrich high school students' lives and to get them motivated for college.

What do you like most about the program?

Pushing high schoolers toward college goals.

What do you think about the students in the program?

-very enthusiastic about learning

-very helpful and supportive of one another within the program
