Position: Math Teacher Educational Background (degrees):  B.S. Mechanical Engineering; Master in Teaching UW Years with UB: 1 # of years planning with stay with UB: I have plans for next summer, so I guess just one summer.

 Why did you decide to work for Upward Bound?

    I wanted to get experience teaching a diverse group of students before I start working at Chief Leslie School in Puyallup next fall.

What did you expect from this program? (e.g. students, class  structure)

   I expected a program that had more structure in who would be in a class and what topics should be taught.  I expected the students to be very bright and motivated to learn.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

   I read, play with my kids, travel, and walk my dog!
