 Why did you decide to work for Upward Bound?

    I was invited to teach a literature lecture several years ago and I became enamored of the program and stayed on.

What did you expect from this program? (e.g. students, class  structure)

    I expected smart, motivated students, which is what I have often.  I like the smaller classes and the daily contact.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

  I have a new house with a big yard and garden.  I spend a lot of time weeding and barbequing.,
