This class was an advanced web design class where the learned how to make instructional web sites for the Trio ThinkQuest web design competition. The students used a miriade of tools while constructing their sites including Macromedia Dream weaver, Macromedia Flash, JavaScript, CGI, and more.
Assisted by Chanpraya Thou, Byron Mackenzie and Sharon Primm-Dayot taught the class. Dave Wolczyk and Donna Bolima acted as team coaches along with Sharon and Byron. Donna and Sharon taught the students research skills and content composition while Byron and Dave taught the technical aspects of web design and construction.
The students were divided into teams of two or three people. Each team created a website that provided an educational resource their chosen topic. The topics chosen were:
· Angels
· Angel Island
· Dyslexia
· Pop Music
· Survival
· Terraforming
These sites demonstrate the devotion, imagination and intelligence of their creators.
