This course is designed to help the development of critical writing, thinking and analysis skills. Students will explore the process of researching a topic, summarizing sources and organizing information. In the end, students will compile their findings into a polished Web Site for entry into a national contest. Students find this class challenging especially the pages of research they need to find and sift through in order to create a good educational site. In the end, they usually feel good about seeing a difficult project through to the very end and having something to show for it. Prizes for the best sites involve money for college.
