What is your class about?

The goal of this program is to introduce you to some of he most important (AND interesting) concepts in the study of the Earth. Everyone should care about how the Earth works: we all live on this planet and we all are affected by some of the BIG events that happen sometimes. In addition, there are rocks, minerals and fossils that inspire us about the beauty of nature and the expanse of time past. All citizens of this planet should know and understand some of the wonderful things that have been discovered so far. However, the exciting new discoveries in the future will be made by people like you and your fellow students who are informed and inquisitive. In this class I hope to inspire you about the earth, and maybe you will be one of those future discoverers.
