Dr. Gerdts is a postdoctoral fellow who completed her PhD in child clinical psychology at the University of Washington, and her undergraduate work at Colby College.  Dr. Gerdts completed her predoctoral psychology internship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, with a focus on developmental disabilities.  Dr. Gerdts’ research interests involve understanding the genetic basis of autism, including studying autism-related traits in family members of children with autism.  In the future, Dr. Gerdts intends to continue to work in the Seattle area within the autism community.
