Interactive DAS image details

The DAS computer, represented in the interactive image as a black box labeld DAS, has a black fiber optic cable leading below it in an S shape. Along the cable, animated yellow dashes are used to represent the light being sent through the fiber optic cable from the DAS to the end. Nested in one of te curves of the S is an orca icon. Below, there is a zoomed in cut out that shows the inside the cable. The cable cut out show a large yellow arrow, representing the light, colliding with a black dot, which is an "imperfection" in the cable.

When the "Create a sound event" button is clicked, the orca makes a sound, which creats a blue ring that collides with the cable. As the pressure changes from the audio wave hits the cable, it creates an aboration, represented here as a purple arrow in the cutout and a purple dot on the cable, which is then bounced back to the DAS.
