She completed internal medicine residency training at the University of California, San Francisco and infectious diseases fellowship training at the University of Washington.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW203574669 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW203574669 BCX0\"> Her research focuses on improving HIV &amp; STI clinical and public health services, with a particular focus on novel models of HIV care.\u202f She has worked with health department HIV\/STD programs throughout the U.S. on capacity building projects and research collaborations.
