This internship pathway focuses on community-centered invasive species management and habitat restoration. Interns will take part in hands-on projects that support ecological health and community engagement at Saint Edward State Park and beyond.
Interns may:

Lead in independent restoration project and invasive removal in the park

Organize and lead community cleanup and restoration events.

Work alongside Washington State Parks staff and partners on invasive species removal projects and events.

Support the development and implementation of a long-term management plan for sustaining native ecosystems.

Intern might help manage CoSEE’s outdoor learning area and native plant garden as needed.

Assist with other projects that support CoSEE programs and operations at the Environmental Education & Research Center (EERC).
This opportunity is open to students interested in environmental science, ecology, restoration, sustainability, or community engagement. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, collaborate, and get your hands dirty in the field.
