AMERICORPS ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION POSITION
 
OVERVIEW
The Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement (CoSEE) at UW Bothell is seeking three AmeriCorps Members to support environmental education efforts at Saint Edward State Park and in the greater community. Members will serve approximately 300 hours over the academic year (through June 2026) and will receive an educational stipend through AmeriCorps upon completion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an AmeriCorps Member housed at CoSEE, you’ll help design and deliver hands-on environmental learning experiences for diverse audiences. Projects and examples include:
- Supporting our Adaptive Library Initiative, creating accessible educational materials for learners of all abilities.
- Developing take-home and classroom kits that connect students and families to local ecology and socio-ecological thriving
- Leading one-on-one or small-group workshops (“101’s”) in the classroom, park, campus, or community spaces
- Collaborating with community partners such as Yard-by-Yard, local schools, and volunteer restoration groups.
This position is ideal for students or emerging educators passionate about nature, accessibility, and community engagement.
COMMITMENT & BENEFITS
