AmeriCorps Student Fellows
AmeriCorps funding is available through Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good (WACC) for students participating in particums, internships, work study positions, or volunteer service experiences this spring and summer 2023!
This is best suited for students who already have practicum, internship or work study in the core focus area Academic Engagement (K-12 Student Success or College/University Student Success). Student Fellows positions include 300 and 450-hour terms of service and an AmeriCorps Education Award of $1,374.60 and $1,718.25 upon completion of service. The Education Award can be used to pay eligible student loans or future educational expenses.
Students’ service must primarily benefit low-income, underrepresented, and/or marginalized individuals. Service sites must be a nonprofit, school, or government agency and service must take place in Washington or Idaho.
