Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. Our services are culturally-competent, so the food provided at the ACRS Food Bank reflects this. We supply various Asian foods, but especially rice.

Work with our team to provide delicious, healthy and culturally familiar meals to elders and staff at ACRS’ senior center, Club Bamboo. Volunteers will help prepare and serve food, wash dishes and clean the kitchen area to help maintain a well-run operation. Lunch is provided at the end of each shift

TIMES: The kitchen is open Monday – Friday from 9 A.M. – 12/1 P.M. Volunteers can take any 3/4 hour shift during this time or take a regular shift for one or more months.
LOCATION: ACRS’ Main Facility at 3639 Martin Luther King Junior Way S. Parking available on-site.
TASKS: Food preparation, meal prep, washing dishes and some clean-up.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16. On-going volunteers will be asked to get a food handlers permit.
