Foreign Service Fellowship for Emerging Leaders
The inaugural Meridian-Cox Foreign Service Fellowship for Emerging Leaders is a fully-funded enrichment and training program expanding awareness and access to Foreign Service careers (State Department, USAID, Commerce and USDA) to current college sophomores and juniors from underrepresented communities across the United States. Non-traditional and community college grads are especially encouraged to apply!
The Fellowship will take place in Washington, DC from Sunday, June 23 to Saturday, June 29, 2024. Fellows will be paid a stipend of $500 and receive per diem for meals and incidentals for each day of the Fellowship. Roundtrip airfare, lodging, and ground transportation to and from the airport in Washington, DC will also be covered.
Through the generous support of the Una Chapman Cox Foundation and in partnership with Community Colleges for International Development (CCID), the fellowship will spotlight the vital work of Foreign Service Officers, while also teaching the critical soft skills necessary to succeed in a diplomatic career.
The application deadline is Wednesday, March 20. Learn more and apply here: https://www.meridian.org/project/meridian-cox-foreign-service-fellowship-for-emerging-leaders/
