Invasive Species Management & Restoration Internship
This internship pathway focuses on community-centered invasive species management and habitat restoration. Interns will take part in hands-on projects that support ecological health and community engagement at Saint Edward State Park and beyond.
Interns may:
- Lead in independent restoration project and invasive removal in the park
- Organize and lead community cleanup and restoration events.
- Work alongside Washington State Parks staff and partners on invasive species removal projects and events.
- Support the development and implementation of a long-term management plan for sustaining native ecosystems.
- Intern might help manage CoSEE’s outdoor learning area and native plant garden as needed.
- Assist with other projects that support CoSEE programs and operations at the Environmental Education & Research Center (EERC).
This opportunity is open to students interested in environmental science, ecology, restoration, sustainability, or community engagement. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, collaborate, and get your hands dirty in the field.
