North Creek Restoration Internship – Summer 2025

Join the Adopt A Stream Foundation for a hands-on, field-based internship focused on ecological restoration in North Creek, a key salmon-bearing stream in Everett, WA. From June to September, interns will support the construction and monitoring of Beaver Dam Analogs (BDAs) and logjams to help restore streamflow, improve fish habitat, and increase biodiversity. No prior experience required—just a passion for conservation and a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Position Details:

  • Title: Restoration Intern (Beaver Dam Analog Installation & Monitoring)

  • Location: 600 – 128th St SE, Everett, WA 98208

  • Schedule: Flexible, June–September

  • Compensation: Unpaid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with BDA and logjam installation

  • Monitor stream conditions and aquatic life

  • Participate in habitat restoration and ecological data collection

  • Support community outreach and landowner engagement

Ideal Candidates:

  • Interested in environmental science, ecology, or watershed management

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions

  • Team players with a positive attitude
