We study the languages and cultures of the ancient Greeks and Romans, whose civilizations shape our present cultural, intellectual, professional, and civic lives. Our students develop deeply informed critical perspectives and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
This site is part of the College of Arts & Sciences Department Web Framework, a series of sites managed by the College's web services team. The web team partners with academic units to provide design, training, and technical support, so that unit staff can focus on their content and communication strategies. As of April 2019, there are 31 departments using the framework. The sites have many shared features, such as consistent information architecture, faculty/staff directories with editable profiles, and course listings imported directly from the Time Schedule. Each site's appearance can be customized to reflect the culture of the unit and their key messaging priorities.
