{"id":1049,"date":"2020-01-07T13:30:29","date_gmt":"2020-01-07T21:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwgrad\/?p=1049"},"modified":"2020-01-07T13:30:29","modified_gmt":"2020-01-07T21:30:29","slug":"critical-reminder-winter-2020-convey-admissions-decisions-deadline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwgrad\/2020\/01\/critical-reminder-winter-2020-convey-admissions-decisions-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"Critical Reminder: Winter 2020 &#8211; Convey Admissions Decisions Deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please be advised the fifth day of instruction, <strong>Friday, January 10<\/strong>, is an important admission\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/for-students-and-post-docs\/degree-requirements\/dates-and-deadlines\/#Winter\">deadline<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0Winter\u00a0Quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The following actions should be taken in MyGradProgram\u00a0<strong>no later than January 10:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit admission petitions\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Confirm<\/strong>\u00a0the student has withdrawn from all classes (see SRF100 in the Student Database or MGP transcripts).<\/li>\n<li>Defer \u2013 admitted for Winter 2020 deferring to a future quarter<\/li>\n<li>Early Entry* \u2013 admitted to future quarter planning to begin Winter 2020<\/li>\n<li>Change Offer Accepted to Declined Confirmed Status (Applicant paid ECD but will not attend).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Convey decisions for all Winter 2020 applications, including decisions for late applications<\/li>\n<li>Submit student petition\n<ul>\n<li>Defer\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/aep.washington.edu\/courses\/placement.asp\">AEP<\/a>\u00a0requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage you to refer to our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gs1.s.uw.edu\/for-students-and-post-docs\/degree-requirements\/dates-and-deadlines\/\">Dates &amp; Deadlines\u00a0<\/a>calendar for quarterly \u201cConvey Admissions Decisions\u201d deadlines and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/gradadvisorguide.pdf\">GEMS Graduate Advisor Guide<\/a>\u00a0for details on the petition processes described above.
