See <a href=\"https:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/gradadvisorguide.pdf#page=5\">GEMS Graduate Advisor Guide<\/a> for policies and procedures. (Prior to submitting Admission Petition type: Defer- specify qtr\/yr\/ offer of admission required, confirm student has withdrawn from all classes via the Student Database system (SDB) SRF-100 Student Schedule Inquiry.)<br \/>\n\u2022\tEarly Entry* \u2013 admitted to future quarter planning to begin Spring 2022. See <a href=\"https:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/gradadvisorguide.pdf#page=4\">GEMS Graduate Advisor Guide<\/a> for policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022\tChange Offer Accepted to Declined Confirmed Status (Applicant paid ECD but will not attend).<br \/>\n\u2022\tConvey decisions for <u>all<\/u> Spring 2022 applications, including decisions for late applications.<br \/>\nNote: Applications without decisions are automatically changed to \u201cDenied\u201d status after the 8th day of the quarter.<br \/>\n\u2022\tSubmit student petition to Defer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aep.uw.edu\/placement\">AEP (Academic English Program)<\/a> requirements \u2013 admitted for Spring Quarter 2022 deferring AEP requirement to Autumn Quarter 2022.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: Students pay their Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) via the <a href=\"https:\/\/registrar.washington.edu\/students\/ecs\/\">Enrollment Confirmation System (ECS)<\/a>, which closes on Friday, April 8th for students admitted for Spring quarter. Students cannot pay the ECD in-person or by postal mail.<br \/>\nPlease contact <a href=\"mailto:gemshelp@uw.edu\">gemshelp@uw.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/br><br \/>\n** A student moving from either Summer or Autumn 2022 to Spring 2022 should be processed as soon as possible to prevent registration problems.
