These are reminders for you that will assist GEMS in providing a quick and successful graduation for your students. Students must complete all degree requirements on or before June 10, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Before<\/em> you recommend graduation in MyGradProgram, please ensure the following steps have been completed:<\/p>\n

  1. Verify the master\u2019s request indicates the correct degree code.<\/li>\n
  2. Assign department contingencies, if there are any.<\/li>\n
  3. Print the warrant for signatures. The warrant must be printed before<\/em> approving a Master\u2019s Degree Request (see MGP help files). The signed warrant must be kept in the student\u2019s file.<\/li>\n
  4. Review the student\u2019s degree audit.<\/li>\n
  5. Verify that any necessary petitions have been submitted (e.g., \u201ccount GNM credits\u201d or \u201cextend time limit\u201d)<\/li>\n
  6. Verify that all required<\/em> courses have grades appearing on the transcript. Verify that grades have posted to the transcript for the final<\/em> quarter of enrollment (grades are due by 5 p.m., June 15th<\/sup> for Spring 2016.)<\/li>\n
  7. Verify that all department contingencies have been cleared.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
