{"id":820,"date":"2017-08-17T15:30:04","date_gmt":"2017-08-17T23:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwgrad\/?p=820"},"modified":"2017-08-18T11:16:11","modified_gmt":"2017-08-18T19:16:11","slug":"rose-form-discontinued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwgrad\/2017\/08\/rose-form-discontinued\/","title":{"rendered":"ROSE Form Discontinued"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After discussion with the UW Registrar, GEMS has agreed that the Required Off-Site Education Approval (R.O.S.E.) process will no longer be used as of the 2017-2018 academic year.<br \/>\nThe link has been removed from our Graduate School <a href=\"http:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/policies-procedures\/graduate-school-forms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">forms<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>Students who are officially on-leave for reasons related to their educational study should refer to <a href=\"http:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/policies-procedures\/general-graduate-student-policies\/graduate-on-leave-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Graduate On-Leave Status<\/a>: \u201cStudents Requesting Loan Deferment\u201d section.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the numbers of students who have requested ROSE in previous quarters, we anticipate that this change will affect only a very small number of graduate students.
