HATC received state funding to expand prevention services in K-12 schools and SANE training to include DV strangulation<\/div><\/div><\/div>

HATC celebrated 50 years of service.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

HATC received federal funds to launch a TeleSANE program that provides training and consultation to SANEs serving rural communities throughout WA state.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

HATC launched its Mobile Advocacy program that enables social workers to provide information, referral, and advocacy services to underserved communities.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

HATC contracted with Osborne and Associates to provide a race equity agency assessment and develop a Diversity Race Equity 3-year Strategic Plan.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

We changed our name to Harborview Abuse & Trauma Center (HATC).<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Harborview developed WASafe.org website for medical providers and victims of sexual assault. Website resources include WA State medical sexual assault guidelines as well as links to sexual assault medical\/forensic resources and training opportunities.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Harborview developed Athletes as Leaders program for high school athletes on girls' sports teams.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
2009- 2016<\/div><\/div>

Harborview SANE program expanded to include Swedish First Hill; Seattle Children's medical Center; and UWMC.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Designated as a King County Crime Victim Service Center. Harborview provides victim centered services to victims of crime.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Awarded funding to provide statewide CBT+ training through the Department of Behavioral Health Resources (DBHR). Training has been ongoing since 2006.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
