{"id":2,"date":"2022-11-09T03:00:23","date_gmt":"2022-11-09T03:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwhivishub\/wordpress\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2026-01-27T11:23:49","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T19:23:49","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/uwhivishub\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Alliance in Implementation Science to End HIV\/AIDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"intro\">Launched in August 2022, the <strong>R<\/strong>esearch <strong>A<\/strong>lliance in <strong>I<\/strong>mplementation <strong>S<\/strong>cience to <strong>E<\/strong>nd HIV (RAISE) aims to advance the contribution of implementation science towards the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>RAISE is led by Dr. Kenneth Sherr in close collaboration with Dr. Matthew Golden, Dr. Christine Khosropour, Dr. Arianna Means and a distinguished group of expert faculty. RAISE is one of eight Implementation Science Consultative Hubs across the country that provide implementation science consultation to NIH-funded EHE research projects designed to improve the uptake and effectiveness of HIV\/AIDS interventions and bend the curve on the HIV epidemic in the US. Collectively, along with the HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative, these hubs have become \u00a0known as the Capacity-building Hubs to Enhance the Science of HIV Implementation REsearch (<a href=\"https:\/\/hivimpsci.northwestern.edu\/ehe-implementation-science-hubs\/\">CHESHIRE<\/a>) network. RAISE also works in partnership with the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (<a href=\"https:\/\/nastad.org\/\">NASTAD<\/a>) to provide technical assistance in implementation research to health departments in EHE jurisdictions.
