Year at UW: Third
About me: Hello, my name is Jane Kwon and I am a third-year Honors student. I am currently double majoring in Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology and Biochemistry, and minoring in Bioethics and Humanities. While I am on a premed track, I am hoping to find opportunities that will let me work in educational settings as well. Outside of class time, I work in a research lab, studying molecular mechanisms of aging in C.elegans, and tutor chemistry at CLUE. I am also an officer for MEDIC (Medical Ethics Discussion for Interdisciplinary Collaboration). In the past, I have been involved with Healthcare Alternative Spring Break (team leader), Pipeline Project, UW Leaders and random school volunteering opportunities. Honors program really helped me find my niche in UW and I am now trying to expand my community beyond the Honors program. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would love to talk to you about my experiences at UW and get to know you!
