Penny Hazelton Endowed Fund for Law Librarianship

The purpose of this scholarship is intended to provide financial support to graduate students in the Law Librarianship program at the University of Washington Information School for their professional development.


Earl Borgeson Research in Law Librarianship Award

The Borgeson Award was established to promote the UW Law Librarianship Program and to encourage scholarly research that will enhance the profession. Students submit papers about important contemporary topics affecting law librarianship. These papers are then reviewed by panel of nationally-renowned law librarians, who select the award recipient. The winning paper is also published in Legal Reference Services Quarterly (LSRQ).

Melissa S. Landers Memorial Fund

This scholarship is intended to benefit incoming students at the University of Washington who are interested in law librarianship. It was established in memory of Melissa Sue Landers, former Head of Public Services, at the Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library.
