    Pager Features

    New Feature For Paging Available

    • Message Carbon Copy - Keeps you in the loop -- Designate an additional e-mail address to receive a copy of each message sent to your pager. This address can be an e-mail account, a cell phone, a PDA, or any other addressable device. Have your messages forwarded to an alternate address to maintain a comprehensive backup of your pages, or copy your messages to another device when you know you will be traveling outside USA Mobility's coverage area. Please be ready to provide your device or email extension when signing up for this feature EXAMPLE: (206)123-4567@vtext.com is what Verizon uses. Standard Text messaging rates apply from your cell phone carrier.

  • Alpha-numeric text messaging – All alpha pagers can receive messages up to 200 characters in length. There are two ways to send an alpha page:
        1. Go to Metrocall: Send a Message.
        2. Send an email to the pager. The pager email is as follows:   206pager#@usamobility.net
  • Group paging – A group number can be set up for your department or floor. Group pagers allow for one number to be paged and several pagers to go off with the same message. To set up a group or for information on existing groups, call 598-6367.
  • Voicemail – USA Mobility pagers have the capability of voicemail. The service costs an additional $1.00/month and can be added to your pager by calling 616-1002. The default security code for all new voicemail boxes is the last 4-digits of your capcode. If you need instructions on how to locate your cap code, access your voicemail and/or change your personal greeting, come to room NE-165 on the 1st floor of the Medical Center.

If you have additional questions or cannot get these features to work on your pager, please call us at 598-6367.

  • Repair or Lost Pager Service

If your pager is lost or broken, come to room NE-165 on the 1st floor of the medical center during regular office hours. (Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.)  If your pager is broken, please bring the broken unit with you. If your pager is lost, please be sure that you know the pager number.
