Announcement regarding UW Medicine\u2019s New Employee Orientation (NEO)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

UW Medicine Organization Development and Training is excited to share that beginning March 11, 2024<\/strong> UW Medicine New Employee Orientation (NEO) returns to in-person delivery at the UW Tower. The UW Medicine Day One experience will continue kicking off with The Starting Line activities (7:30 – 8:45am) followed by our comprehensive orientation program in the Tower auditorium from 9:00am \u2013 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

New employees should be compensated for a full day (8 hours) for their participation in UW Medicine Day One (NEO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

<\/a>New Employee Orientation (NEO)<\/h2>\n

The New Employee Orientation (NEO) is the means by which new employees are welcomed and introduced to the organization\u2019s mission, vision, and values. This program assists new employees in gaining a sense of who we are and what it means to be a member of the UW Medicine Health System, in addition to fulfilling many of our compliance related training requirements. Individuals will be scheduled to attend NEO, which should coincide with their first day of employment.<\/p>\n

Who must attend NEO?<\/h3>\n

All new Medical Centers employees are required to meet Benefits and Medical Centers Orientation requirements within 30 days of their start date.<\/p>\n
