In order to select excellent candidates, hiring managers must develop their skills in candidate assessment and interviewing.<\/p>\n<p>Participants in this course will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review \u201cbest practices\u201d including structured interview processes and behavioral-based interviews and analyze why these practices lead to more effective hiring processes.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and write effective behavioral interview questions. Identify biases, labor issues, and legal issues that can affect the hiring process.<\/li>\n<li>Assess behavioral-based interview questions and candidate answers.<\/li>\n<li>Review the steps following candidate selection including, checking references, making the offer, and on-boarding new hires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Upcoming Courses<\/h4>\n<p>During this <strong>4-hour<\/strong> course, participants will practice the essentials of finding the best candidates for their open positions.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please note changes:<\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0Currently, there are no scheduled dates for this class\/program while OD&amp;T works to align our offerings with organizational priorities, including Mission Forward.
