Find the right logo for every situation

Choosing the correct logo is critical to maintaining UW Medicine’s strong, unified brand identity. Our logo explainer grid simplifies the process by helping you quickly identify the correct logo to use for different scenarios, whether you’re representing a department, service line, event sponsorship, or external partnership.

Using the right logo ensures clarity, professionalism and consistency in all communications and strengthens public trust in UW Medicine’s mission.

Primary Brand

The overarching brand that represents all UW Medicine experiences, connected through a shared single mission. It symbolizes that our system is stronger as an integrated system than our separate components.

Use refreshed two-tier logo. May also use remote treatment with primary UW Medicine logo or tagline. Tagline may not be used with two-tiered logos. 

Clinics and Centers

Physical locations dedicated to a specialized area of focus or range of services within a single specialty in which patients are evaluated by a provider and receive care. They are often outpatient and can be standalone or exist inside a larger facility such as a Medical Center.
