Using Logo with Sponsorships

Representing UW Medicine at Events
When participating in event sponsorships, follow logo usage rules to maintain clarity and professionalism while ensuring consistent branding.

Approved Logos

You may use your approved logo, either entity or service line, as your group’s sponsor logo without needing the primary logo.

How to Use Your Logo:

  • Follow logo size, clear space, and design guidelines exactly as outlined in the brand standards (e.g., no modifications or resizing apart from approved formats).
  • Your logo can stand on its own, like other organization sponsor logos.
  • Only approved logos can be used.
  • You may not create or mimic a logo if one has not been formally approved for your group.

Departments Using Remote Treatment

This applies to administrative, operational, or support departments (e.g., IT, HR, Facilities) and clinical units that do not have an approved logo.

How to Use the Logo:

  • Use the primary UW Medicine logo for event sponsorships.
  • If necessary, your department name may be included using a modified remote treatment to fit the needed design specifications.
  • This format is only for event sponsorships. For general communications or other uses, follow standard branding guidelines.
