This includes times when you enter patient rooms, checking patients in for visits, or providing care. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Masks are optional in non-clinical settings when non-patient facing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Masks are also optional for patients, caregivers, and visitors in clinical settings and all other settings. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eye protection<\/strong> is only required based on standard and transmission-based precautions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Respirators <\/strong>are only required when working with symptomatic patients whose COVID-19 and\/or influenza status is unknown.
