Haron currently serves as the Finance and Administration Manager in the department of medicine, Aga Khan University. He is an experienced financial management specialist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with final professional qualification in Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) course. Currently pursuing an MBA in Finance and Project Management.

Haron has over 17 years’ experience in finance, he has previously worked with Strathmore University, Heritage Hotels and ACROSS South Sudan NGO in various senior finance positions. Prior to joining Aga Khan University, he served as the Finance Officer for ACROSS South Sudan where he was responsible for strategy formulation, financial planning and reporting, budget management and control and systems compliance. 

Haron has a rich experience in people management, proven knowledge and expertise in ensuring field offices adhere to financial policies, budget planning and development, monitoring expenditure and control, guiding project holders on project financial management, well experienced in financial training and building capacity of finance teams and excellent interpersonal skills.

Haron social interests include pro bono consulting & volunteering for local social boards and not for profit boards, aiming to positively impact the communities in which he lives in.
