
Maureen Maina currently serves as the Internal Medicine Administrative Assistant. Maureen’s background majors in Business Management holding a higher diploma from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
Her additional training includes, use of QuickBooks Software for Accounting Double Entry for small to medium sized companies from the Royal Business School and an additional Entrepreneurship Training. Maureen is also proficient in Ms. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet. Maureen has over 8 years work experience in HR and Administration, she has gained proficiency in training through organizing various seminars for both the government, NGO’s and corporate sectors.
Prior to joining Aga Khan University Hospital, she worked as an Administrator at GEARR Consultants Limited, and Administrative Assistant at Sakai Trading Limited and Countrywide Properties Ltd. She also worked in the HR Department at the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) in the Year 2011.
Her social interests include mission work having served as a missionary in Gulu – Uganda, Mbita- Kisumu and Malindi-Kenya in the Year 2008. She has also served as a member of the mission committee in her Church. Maureen enjoys reading inspirational books, writing poetry and travelling.
