These are competitive positions, and we typically retain student workers for the duration of their time at the University of Washington. As individuals graduate, we will have openings available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the caveat that we (the staff) need to have seen you in the office, interacting with other students, and showing an interest in the community. We do not hire work-studies that have no affiliation with the office and will generally only hire individuals who have an established presence within the community. This is to mitigate issues that may arise due to the uncertainty of policies implemented by SVL or the mission of our office.

If you are interested in being a VA Workstudy at SVL, please send an email to vetlife@uw.edu indicating your interest, and we will respond and put you on the waitlist for workstudy positions!

Does SVL have a newsletter to update us on events and current events on campus?

Yes!
