Lockbox Giveaway
Gun violence is preventable. Everyone deserves to be safe and well, including you.
On a quarterly basis, the violence intervention and prevention program have a lockbox giveaway. Why lockboxes? Research shows that storage laws and distributing locking devices significantly reduce unintentional injuries and suicides. By advocating for safe gun storage, providing education, and increasing access to secure storage options, the VIPS team hopes every measure contributes to preventing even one incident.
In using a gun lock or lockbox, you’re doing your part to help keep your household and your community safer from gun violence.
