- Attend Walk a Mile Training in Seattle
- Recruit liaison organizations
- Enroll endorsers for credibility and bi-partisan support
- Invite keynote speaker for Opening Event

- Conduct training for liaisons
- Liaisons identify and enroll low-income participants in each district
- Send invitations to policymakers and enroll “front-runners”
- Make follow-up calls to legislators & collect registration forms
- Create public support: constituent calls, letters to the editor, attend public meetings, write newsletter articles

- Send welcome packets to participating policymakers
- Send match information to liaisons (for low-income participants) and to policymakers
- Continue to enroll and match participants
- Manage the scheduling of first contacts between matches
- Liaisons help prepare low-income participants for visit with policymaker

- Send second press release
- Maintain weekly contact with liaisons to monitor matches and keep track of activities
- Follow-up with policy-makers who have not contacted their matches
- Answer media inquires and set-up interviews
- Share successes and media with WAM National

- Mail and follow-up with evaluations
- Relax and look forward to your WAM project next year!
- Coordinators complete project evaluations and final reports by March
